Nalle "Grizzly" Påhlsson (Bass)
Nalle started to play his brothers guitar as soon as he could walk and pick it up !
At the age of 10 he bought his first bassguitar. It was an easy choice, cause his
biggest idols in the bands he listened to were the bassplayers, such as Steve Priest
from The Sweet and Glenn Hughes from Deep Purple.
He played with local bands up to the age of 16, when he got a request to
join a band with a record-deal and played with them for about 3 years.
Then he became a professional freelance musician and has toured and recorded
alot with swedish and danish artists and bands the past 20 years.
Nalle is selftaught and goes for "power, balls and simplicity" in his way of playing.
Influences: Black Sabbath, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, KISS, Alice Cooper, Judas Priest, Rush, Ozzy Osbourne, U.K. Genesis, Strapping Young Lad, Pantera
Johan Koleberg (Drums)
Powerhouse metal drummer. Proficient pop drummer. Sensitive allround player. Regardless of style – technical and progressive or laid back and groovy – Johan Koleberg delivers exactly what the song needs. And he does it with precision and taste. Fagersta-born Johan Koleberg started playing drums in 1976, at the age of 8. Like a lot of musicians of his generation, he started out as a Kiss fan, emulating Peter Criss' meat and potatoes kind of playing before developing chops that his childhood hero could only dream of. After a few years of taking drum lessons, Johan was off on his own. Now his influences spelt Neil Peart (Rush), Jeff Porcaro (sessions and Toto) and Terry Bozzio (sessions, Frank Zappa, UK). At the age of 23, he moved to Stockholm, where he joined AOR heroes Talk Of The Town at their peak, thus getting a taste of both nationwide and international success. An easy-going lad who likes the good things in life (without overdoing them), he had no problems finding new gigs when the band broke up. One of Scandinavia's most accomplished rock and metal drummers, Johan soon became an in-demand player. Several bands followed – most notably progressive metal band Lion's Share, with whom he released four albums and toured (often together with acts like Dio, Motörhead, Manowar, U.D.O. Saxon, Sweet and Dee Snider. He then joined critically acclaimed AOR band Ignition before joining the new line-up of glam rockers Zan Clan. During the last year, they have been playing headline gigs, arena gigs and festivals, sometimes sharing the stage with bands like Whitesnake and Queensryche. The Zan Clan album "We Are Zan Clan – Who The F**k Are You?!" was released April 2005 and is currently enjoying rave reviews from all over the world. During the spring of 2005, Koleberg also laid down all drum tracks for the long-awaited comeback album by (ex- WASP guitarist Randy Piper's) Animal. In addition to his full-time commitments, Koleberg has done several more sessions, as well as touring and/or performing with some of Sweden's biggest names within rock and MOR.
Thomas Vikström
This one is best said in his own words:
"Started to sing when he was 15 in the band Bastard.
It sounded and looked horrible but I started to get girls. It's a cliche but it's true. Then I started to train my voice to be better and in 1988 I wrote a monster hit in Sweden. A song called Free like an eagle. That opened up all doors for me. And since then I have almost done anything. Disney, Opera, Musical Theatre, Metal, pop, you name it. I have always been the hired gun in different bands until I met Christofer in 2007. For the first time it feels like I found a band that I like to stay with.A home! Why?? Because of the music, my bandmates, And first of all YOU! The fans!!Therion is a very special family to be in ..."
